Alexa Redirects

Alexa Redirects whats the point

For about 3 Days I have redirected my url through Alexa on Mybloglog, Stumbleupon and DP it looked like the below which is ugly and is diverting linkjuice away from my url. http://redirect.alexa.com/redirect?http://financial-independence.net/

I haven't seen any change in my Alexa rank at all then Lord Matt made this post SEO Basics some good points and I have to honest whats the point of jeopadising my pagerank and Search Traffic to make a few more squid from ad sales.

Thanks for making me see sense Lord Matt the Bloggers Friend who still hasn't explained to me the benefits of an ad server.

Alexa ranking depends on the type of traffic you get, if you get lots of visitors with the Alexa Toolbar your ranking will be lower than if you don't so all the redirect is doing is alerting Alexa to the traffic like if your visitors had a toolbar

I'm not sure about that Alexa redirecting thing. I've never tried it really because I want to know how much time do I need to get my blog in top 100,000 naturaly.
