financial independence

Today I was watching a program on discovery channel, I am sure most American Visitors to financial independence will know it, its called till debt do us part (or something like that) I only caught the end of the program.

From what I could ascertain (watching the last ten minutes) the lady visits people in debt, debt as you probably know puts a strain on a relationship so she visits these people that are drowning in debt and tells them how to budget and negotiate with their creditors to get manageable monthly repayments and sort out their reliance on payday loans etc.

One of the things she looks at is increasing the couples income, Mr indebt did some overtime etc.

Starting a blog when your struggling with debt probably isn't a very good idea as it can take months to make money and costs money, financial independence has probably costed me more in electric than its made and any money I have had from link sales etc has been put back into the site. How do you like the new design?????

If your really drowning in debt you would be better of getting a part time job, if your not drowning in debt but you just want to get rid of your credit cards quicker I think blogging would be a great alternative and part time source of income.
