An interview with Paul Bradish
I was hoping to publish an interview with someone on the subject of debt and bankruptcy today, I thought it would cover all of the categories of financial independence ready to start again on the subject of making money.
For the meantime we're gonna skip the debt and move straight to making money and we've got a brilliant interview with someone successfully making money online. Paul Bradish runs an excellent blog about internet business and a successful internet consulting company, here's the interview with him Paul's answers are in Italic.
Well Paul from your about page I can see your 23 Years old, you have had success on the internet tell us about your e-commerce site whats the url?
I have had success via the internet, and I feel blessed to be able to work in this industry full time. Since making my move a little over one year ago to full time status, the community has been very warm and receptive. My previous e-commerce business was MMAMuscle.com, but I've been involved in many financially successful projects over the years. I also have some big plans in the works as we speak.
What does/did it sell?
MMA Muscle sells Mixed Martial Arts (Ultimate Fighting) apparel and fight gear. The business also holds a small portfolio of content and affiliate websites as a second revenue stream.
Did you sell it, what happened?
I did sell the business (April '07). I went into the business with a number in mind. I was approached with a figure that exceeded what I had originally wanted, so I knew that it was time. In the end, I had a ROI of 20x the startup cost 8 months prior so I consider it a success. By that time, I was ready to move on to newer, larger niches and internet business ventures and have been having a blast doing so.
I like the design of your blog template, did you create it yourself?
Thanks. I can't take full credit for it though, It is loosely based off of another template called aalglatt. Over time it has shaped into something completely different, but it still uses much of aalglatt at it's core. I also have about 15 plug ins installed, give or take.
What advice would you give to aspiring entrepreneurs?
Being an entrepreneur isn't always easy, but there's nothing else like it. I wake up every morning with a big smile on my face, and that is rare in this day and age. If you want to make money off of the internet - do it. If you want to be a success story - be one. If someone tries to tell you otherwise, don't listen to them.
You run a internet consulting firm, do you employ anyone?
Currently I do not have any employees, but the thought has crossed my mind. Business is to the point now, three months in, where I do need to start thinking about bringing in a talented artist from time to time at the very least. Know anyone?
Would you be a good boss?
I like to think that I would make a great boss. Does that count? :)
Anyone wanting a job contact Paul
What/whose blogs do you read regularly and why?
Oh, there are too many of them to list here! I've been especially addicted to Copyblogger.com as of late. I think that is one blog that every blogger, content writer, and internet marketer should read. Brian is a guru when it comes to writing copy and I owe him a big thanks for taking my blog to the next level.
Most people have a funny middle name whats yours?
Stephen. I used to hate it but it's grown on me.
A big thanks to Paul Bradish from epursuit.net - Internet business for the masses
