Are there certain rules and habits that lead to financial independence and wealth? Yes... of course there is.

Financial independence and wealth creation is a combination of rules and habits. First rule - if you seek to be affluent, its not how much money you gain, its not
how many cars you push, it is how often you can save and invest = and that's key.

For example, my father's an exceedingly thrifty individual. Although he is truly wealthy, when he goes to a supermarket to buy an item linke toothpaste, he
will search the whole shop for every toothpaste accessible. He will estimate the
grams to recognize which toothpaste will give him the most toothpaste for that
dollar he will spend,

We hear the term "success" - often very vague and undefined. So what really is success? It’s easy to confuse success with wealth, fame or achievement. The first step to achieving success, is defining it...

We may allow the expectations of others, perhaps family, friends or
society, to define success for us, and fail to stop to think about what
matters most to us -- to review our ultimate goal in life.

Ten steps to a happier life and maybe financial independence.

Due to the fact I am feeling negative today this post was going to be called 10 steps to ruin your life, it had quite good commedy value (made me laugh anyway) but then it occured no ones going to be searching for ways to ruin their life so I've put a positive spin on it for you.

Some of this info I've learned from doing interviews and studying peoples blogs digging deep, some of it is stubsy life experience all of it is fact!

Respect Money - The most important happy life ingredient (thats why its first) respect your money, people say money can't by happiness and their probably right but living without it is a lot worse than living with it.

Not saying you should be frugal or stingy with your cash just think before you splash it about and make loads.

I am not sure if changing the site from HTML into a blog was a good idea, like I said I was getting hits and ranking well in Google and MSN before.

Now I have changed the site so many times I'm worried about getting blacklisted.

I have thought of some more benefits a blog offers.

1. RSS FEEDS - RSS Feeds allow people to subscire to your content, like getting email updates they can see what new stories and articles have been posted on your blog.

Heres the story of financial independence so far.

I have changed this site so many times I thought I should give you an update on my progress.

Lets start from the begining of financial independence.

I first started this site off (Jan 2007) in Plain HTML, and it was doing quite well, I started it not with the intention of making cash although cash would be nice. I started it as a challenge to see if I could get any search engine ranking.

It was showing up on Google and MSN within one month, it was getting organic hits for serch terms like the below.
