Investing in Stock Market

The stock market is often seen as a complicated financial system for those white collar professionals who buy and sell stocks day in and day out. However, the ability for anyone to trade on the stock market is there and now more so than ever with the availability of computer software and websites to make the whole process so much easier. But where does the average joe make a start in such an investment minefield.

Penny Stocks

The advantages of penny stock investing

Investing is one of the quickest ways to gain money, especially the trading in the penny stock market. Penny stocks are best for people who don’t have a lot of money. If you have $250, I would recommend throwing it into a good volatile stock and not the big board stocks. The reason for this is because putting that money in a safe big board stock will never make you rich, it will make slow gains over a long period of time. Save the big board stocks for when you already have big money.

Stubsy's back again

I have been thinking today trying to find ways to make money online, financial independence has been a bit neglected by the stubsy lately its starting to look like a splog I have'nt had time post.

I have decided to make an effort again to try and post here on financial independence every day but its hard to post sometimes for lots of reasons.

1. I am busy with work

2. I have started to run out of things to write.

3. Traffic has started to build as has revenue but its hard to get motivation to post.

Then today on the train (which was delayed 2 hours because someone needed to be scraped of the tracks) I was reading the newspaper and in the paper was an article about moneysupermarket.com.

Trading terminology

Investing in financial markets can be daunting because of the terminology used, it also makes the world of trading (which is in my oponion educated gambling) seem more glamorous.
Heres some of the more common trading terminology and what it means.
PIP - Used in the world of FOREX Trading, PIP stands for Price Increment Point and is the smallest unit of trading in FOREX.
FOREX - FOREX stands for FOReign EXchange, and is the trading of one currency pair against another.
SPREAD - The point or pip difference between the ask and bid price of a currency pair, spread is how forex brokers make they're money.
ASK -The ASK price is the price at which you can buy units or PIPS of whatever it is your trading for.
BID - The BID price how much you can sell for in your chosen market.
BULL - To buy stocks, shares or whatever. You would be a bull if you beleived what ever you were trading was going to increase in value.
