Starting with money related
The first One is an article that should be of interest to all UK homeowners from MSN Money asking is the UK house price bubble about to burst? There's a survey where you can vote, I wouldn't want to buy a house at the moment but what goes down must come up in the long run all property experts reckon house prices will keep rising.
The housing market follows trends just like any other financial market and current fundamental's aren't helping it either but the UK has a housing shortage so prices have got to rise longterm just like any other good investment.
Talking of fundamental data and announcements heres another Money related link for ya, this one is something I thought about doing a little bit of writing on but am a bit thick and far too lazy to be able to explain it properly.
For a couple of weeks the dollar has been losing even more value than usual. The financial institutions of other countries like europe (not really a country is it), in europe the ECB has pumped Millions of Euros into the economy to try and keep it afloat becuase of subprime lending in America, where money has been leant to people for property and they can't afford it so they have been defaulting and getting repossed.
Why has this affected the world economy? Because lots of money has been invested into this market by pension companies and financial organisations all over the world, they don't know the full extent of the problem yet so nobody has been buying on the stock markets.
The markets can be heavily influenced by the big boys who are probably seeing a bit of a bargain basement coming, big trading institutions and fund manangers buy and hold shares for years so they can probably flog a few of them off now and talk it down in order to snap up bargains later (just a stubsy thought there).
