Scams and how to avoid them

Many people are looking at alternative ways to make an Income, this presents an excellent opportunity for scammers looking to relieve you of your cash.

Lets start with how to avoid getting scammed

1. Don't be greedy there are no such thing as get rich quick schemes.

2. Make sure the company has a phone number and physical address. Call the company back.

3. If its a website do a DNS/WHOIS Look up on the domain name, just put DNS/WHOIS into google.

4. Avoid falling for high pressure sales tactics. Scamsters always want your money right now.

5. Paying by credit card offers you some fraud protection (but usually only up to a certain amount).

6. If you're told that you have won a prize and have to pay, don't bother.

7. Don't respond to unsolicited emails asking for your account details etc.

8. Always check the url, just because the site looks like it should.

9. This is the most important part RESEARCH, if some one is offering you get rich quick info. Ask yourself why would they be telling you this stuff if it makes them so much cash does it put their own business in danger? Get proof ask to see their accounts.

10. Ask to speak with other customers, ask for a free trial. If its a legitimate service or software product why would'nt they give you a free trial?
